The place is close enough to the beachfront as well as all major restaurants and shops. Friendly check in. The owner, Brian, makes you feel at home...

We had hours of non-stop fun playing in the water, from swimming and boogie boarding to surfing and windsurfing. The rock pools were perfect for some awesome snorkeling adventures, and we even got to row about in the dinghy provided. Strolling along the beach and rocks was the cherry on top of an amazing vacation with friends. The vibe here is so cool and laid-back, we were totally in our element!
If there was one thing we'd ask for more of, it would be some more options for young party-goers. Don't get us wrong, the beach and water activities were incredible, but a bit more nightlife or social events would have taken our stay to the next level.

Golden Sand Beachfront Accommodation was worth every penny! The room was amazing, with a cozy bed and fluffy pillows that made us feel like we were sleeping on clouds. The location was unbeatable, right on the beach, and the staff treated us like family, always friendly and welcoming.
The hotel breakfast could have been better. Maybe more variety or some freshly baked pastries would have made it perfect.

The views from this beachfront accommodation were absolutely stunning. I loved being so close to the ocean and spending time on the beach. The apartment itself was lovely, with a retro chic interior and spacious rooms. The bathroom was beautiful and I was pleasantly surprised to find laundry facilities included. despite a few minor drawbacks, the location of this accommodation cannot be beaten. I would highly recommend it for a beach getaway.

The PAUA Family Apartment 1: We stayed in this ground floor accessible apartment and it was perfect for our family of five. The queen and three single beds provided us all with a comfortable night's sleep. Taumarumaru Reserve at Coopers Beach: Climbing up the pas in this reserve was a unique experience that added an element of adventure to our stay. The OYSTER Studio Apartment 6: The queen bed and single bed in this studio apartment were so cozy and provided us with a great night's sleep. Cable Bay Stays: We loved the old time beach bach accommodation options that Cable Bay Stays offered. It was a great way to experience the kiwi charm of the Far North.
Stool incident: Unfortunately, we had a small accident with a stool in the accommodation. It broke when my daughter and husband sat on it, causing some grazes.
